Hey bones,
I need your help. I am curious to see how this whole JPG magazine thing works and wanted to try it out. I put up 10 pictures and submitted one to be published. I did not know it was based on votes. So anyway, if any of you have the time between smoking bowls, playing smash brothers, and working, please VOTE for my photo. You have to sign up of course. It takes 2 minutes. Thanks in advance...

SXSW Saturday
Played a show @ 1:45pm today in the heart of the heat. sunburn. then went to the hotel, got smoked up, and went back out and saw simian mobile disco @ an outside festival on a 17x17 stage. awesome. those guys know how to fucking kill it, in or out of a club. stopped in on Roky Eriksson. didn't get it. went on to the fool's gold party and saw kid sister, flosstra, a trak, and a live performance by chromeo. i was really anticipating those guys(chromeo) pulling some awesome shit, but they just started every song off the computer and loosely played over the top. after 3 or 4 songs they started dire straits' money for nothing and then stopped and didn't finish. bored, i left and went and saw gil mantera again and those guys completely showed chromeo up. i think they are gonna do alright. anyway, it's on with the tour and i will be back on friday. bone

SXSW Friday pt.2
Didn't happen. Left the hotel too late and arrived @ a huge line. They were only letting badges in @ that time, no wristbands or tickets. Listened to the MGMT set from outside though, they were great. all in all though, Negative Bone. this whole I.D. thing blows. biggest music festival of the year and i am sitting @ the hotel ripping music. go figure. anyway, as i already told pres, next year we fucking rule this thing. QOTN...RSSS....whatever. so many kids running around just looking to grab on to something, or see what they've been told to see. fucking stupid. like fish in a barrel. i did see a guy calling himself beat runner playing shit off of ableton while riding on the back of a peddy cab and claiming himself the future. now if that's not why i am in austin, i don't know what is.
last day tomorrow. Summerbirds show @ 1pm i think. yikes. who booked that shit?! chromeo and digitalism tomorrow night. we'll see. BONE

I have a wrist band that gets me into anything, but without an I.D., I cannot get into anything 21+. Negative Bone. I miss you guys and wish we were all here getting awesome. Might get to hang with Pharrell of N.E.R.D. after the show tonight. got invited. sort of. anyway, i'll let ya'll know what's up. in the meantime, enjoy the TECHNO VIKING. bone

Epic Bitch
So its raining and there are tornado warnings going on right now and into the evening. Needless to say there is no way Im driving in this shit, especially with 400 pounds of expensive DJ equipment, 15 miles on I-4 towards disney, No fuckin' way. So I call and speak to the manager at houlihan's where I DJ twice a week and she says thats not a good excuse and that I need not worry about coming in any more. Fuck her. The gig is out side! In the rain!?! No one is going to sit at an outside bar during a thunder shower, I just saved them a bunch of money because they would of let me go home early any ways and still paid me! Well, it was starting to be not worth it with the price of gas at $3.30. At least I learned that restaurant gigs suck and are boring as hell and take taxes out of your money. The free food was sweet and that was about it. After gas and taxes I was barely making what a I could make having fun and playing what I want at a Bar Bq Bar.

You wanna sit more on my living room floor.
New remix alert. This is a Ghislain Poirier beat called Tribute to Tiger with Biggie's Get Money acapella over it. That was for the uninformed. Cop it.

Bartenders Roger Lay, Eric Foster and Brian Cannon were getting off work around 3 a.m. one morning, when they heard a scream coming from a nearby parking garage that would forever change their lives.
"We all looked at each other, and were like, 'We should go and check that out,'" Foster said.
The trio were leaving their job at the Matador bar in Downtown Orlando, and raced for the garage.
"We ran towards the screaming, and when we got upstairs, we saw a kind of crazy-looking guy, like a rapist holding a girl down, trying to get his clothes either off or on, and tried to run past us, and the girl was like, 'This guy's attacking us! Help, help!' and we just kind of took it from there," Foster explained.
"We ended up grabbing him when he came out the elevator, and he [Foster] was on the phone with police," Cannon said.
The bartenders continued to hold the suspect until police arrived. They were later told the alleged rapist was out on probation, and was a multiple offender.
The three recently received the Good Citizenship Award from the Orlando Police Department.
"To catch someone like that, it felt good to get him off the street," Cannon said.
That is why Roger Lay, Eric Foster and Brian Cannon are our Central Floridians of the Week.
