From Gizmodo: "Korg's nanoSeries line of noise makers are unlike other Korg synths because they rely on computer production software to work. The slim, USB (data+power) devices are made to be portable, so you can take your studio on the go. nanoKEY is a 25-note keyboard, nanoPad has 12 Akai-style sampler/drum pads and Kaoss pad, and nanoKONTROL is a portable mixing board with 18 switches and 9 knobs. Release date and pricing are still TBD."

M.I.A. calls Bonnaroo her 'last show ever'

taken from NME;

MIA called her performance at Bonnaroo her “last show ever” at the weekend (June 13), following the cancellation of her forthcoming UK tour.

The recently-engaged rapper broke the news of the cancellation onstage at McCarren Pool in Brooklyn last week, confirming it later during an interview with nymag.com at the MoMA in New York, saying she would utilise the time to record new material.

While onstage at the Bonnaroo Festival over the weekend she announced: “This is my last show, and I'm glad I’m spending it with all my hippies.”

According to the New York Times, she repeated that it was her last show three times, and said “thanks for coming to my last gig,” before leaving the stage.

The rapper, whose real name is Mathangi Maya Arulpragasam has a tendency to break news during her live sets, and even announced her engagement to Benjamin Brewer during a performance in Canada last month.

A Collection of Obama Posters

These are pretty awesome. Everyone has seen the OBEY posters for awhile now, but I have a feeling as November gets closer the number of anti Obama posters are going to keep growing. Sadly, I have also been finding more and more anti Obama blogs talking of the coming "Race Wars" and the conspiracy blogs that say Obama is being put into office so that when the shit hits the fan, and the ship finally sinks, conveniently their is a black man to blame. People are fucking insane.

We all know their are going to be hard times ahead. We are starting to feel it already. It's not coming. It is here. I can't wait to see what happens next. I just really hope that the video of Obama's wife giving the bat shit crazy anti American speech doesn't ruin his chances. If anyone finds a link to it please share.

Just making sure everyone figured out that Jacob started a blog about his travels. Shit is awesome. Go read it.

Photo Royale III

That's right little buddies. Photo Royale is back again for the 3rd year in a row. I will be figuring out the Captain invites next week, and everyone should have about a month to plan for it this year. We are going to stay with the same amount of teams as last time, but cut down on the tasks. I think some of the drunks thought it took too much drinking time out of their night to race around and shoot challenges. So anyway...

Details coming soon. Be excited.

Pictures from the wedding

So I took out all the family shots and the 100 pictures of the ceremony and put up the only pictures that I know you all want to see... YOURSELVES! The wedding was such a great time and it meant everything that you all showed up and made it awesome. Thanks again to everybody.

Pictures are here.

Also I bought a new flickr account to host these, and decided the $24 bucks is a fine investment as long as you guys use it to put up pics from other events, or shows, or from the bar. Weird we didn't have any pics from Tyson's HUGE birthday Bar BQ and his 100 friends that showed up just to wish him a Happy B-day. Next big party will be next week. Details soon.

(Just e-mail me or call and I will give you the password and sign in so you guys can use it.)

Also Big huge thanks to Chloe who shot the wedding. She did such a great job and worked her ass off. Here is a link to her site. Treat yourself!
